This is my four-week “Finish Your Book” program, designed to get you focused and finished!
The program includes a two-hour program for three weeks, followed by a one-day virtual writing retreat in week four. Here’s the line up:
Week One – August 13, 5 – 7 pm Eastern:
- Get a strategic focus: revisiting your plan for aligning your book and your platform
- Assess the current status of your book
- Create a punch list of the work needed to complete the book
- Blocking time on your calendar
Week Two – August 20, 5 – 7 pm Eastern:
- Removing roadblocks for completion: Time, Focus, Negative thinking
- Overcoming productive procrastination
- Writing faster and more productively
- Talking back to your negative voice
Week Three – August 27, 5 – 7 pm Eastern:
- Putting together your editorial and publishing plan
- Writing your book summary, about the author
- Creating pull-quotes
- Gathering powerful testimonials
Week Four – September 3, 9 – 6 pm Eastern:
Full-day virtual writing retreat, with two learning modules, 6 hours of writing time, and a one hour wrap up celebrating successes
Each week will include word count reporting (with your own personal goals), celebrations, exercises, writing time, and group discussion.
